Call for Panel Proposals

Panel Proposal Submission Format
Each panel proposal must include the following sections in one PDF file and in the order specified below. Sections 1-9 must not exceed four (4) pages. Each proposal must be submitted via the EasyChair submission website. Please submit ONE PDF file that includes all components of the proposal.
Each proposal must include the following sections:
- Panel title — descriptive and attractive to potential participants.
- Panel abstract — 200-250 words to be posted on the WF-PST website.
- Panel authors — Contact information for all panel organizers, main panel contact, panel moderator, and specify tentative panel participants. Please check with your potential panelists before submitting a proposal — panel organizers must check with the people listed on the panel submission whether they agree to serve as panelists for the proposed panel; each listed panelist will receive an email upon submitting the panel proposal.
- Panel motivation and objectives — how will this panel engage the audience, and how will the audience benefit.
- Panel relevance — relevance to the fields of Public Safety Technologies topics.
- Panel proposal — detailed panel proposal and/or panelists’ position statements
- Panel audience — identify the target audience, which should be a mix of participation from industry, government, and academia; this description will appear on the WF-PST website.
- Panelist biographies — a brief biography of each panelist, including relevant past experience of panel organizer, moderator, or panelist — 200-250 words per panelist to be posted on the WF-PST website.
- Diversity — address the diversity of the proposed panelists; diversity is critical for an IEEE conference panel.
- Panel consent and media release form — required upon acceptance of the panel proposal for all panelists.

Each proposal must conform at the time of submission to the IEEE Formatting Instructions and the submission must also comply with the IEEE Policy on Authorship.
